The project

Kelli and Tamara were looking to redesign their Squarespace website following their recent rebranding. Their goals were to develop a professional yet creative website that would better reflect their personalities and increase brand awareness. They wanted the website to have an editorial look, be easy to navigate, prominently feature their portfolio, and make it simple for visitors to book consultations. Additionally, they needed to effectively separate their residential and commercial project portfolios and redesign their blog to enhance SEO.

The Squarespace website design process

Our collaboration began with a detailed questionnaire to understand their vision, followed by an inspiration session and a strategy call to discuss their brand, goals, and design preferences. I guided them through updating their content and optimizing navigation and calls-to-action to ensure a user-friendly experience.

Over the course of two weeks, I designed and developed a fully custom Squarespace website for Studio One Eleven. Key elements of the process included:

• Crafting a custom portfolio with stunning galleries to separately showcase their residential and commercial projects.

• Designing an editorial look that balanced professionalism with creative flair and a touch of fun.

• Ensuring the navigation system was intuitive and straightforward, with clear calls-to-action to help visitors easily book consultations.

• Redesigning the blog to improve SEO and provide a platform for sharing insights and updates.

Upon completion, I provided Kelli and Tamara with a video recording and a PDF guide detailing the custom-coded elements, enabling them to independently update their website.

The result of our collaboration is a fully custom, professional, and visually appealing website that effectively captures Studio One Eleven's brand identity. The new website is both engaging and functional, allowing visitors to easily navigate, view the portfolio, and book consultations. The redesigned blog enhances SEO, helping to drive more traffic to the site.
