The project

Ted and Stephanie from Glass Act Studio approached me to redesign their website to better showcase their experience, artwork, and to incorporate an online store for selling their art. Their existing WordPress site was difficult to edit, and they needed a more user-friendly platform that would allow them to easily update content and add new creations. After discussing their needs, they chose my Transform template for the project.

The website redesign process

The main objective was to create a modern, memorable website that not only showcased Ted’s unique artistic process but also highlighted the quality of his craftsmanship.

We began with a thorough web branding process, ensuring that the website aligned with their existing logo while offering the flexibility to accommodate the various color schemes present in their art. This phase included selecting appropriate color palettes, typography, and visual elements that reflected the essence of their brand.

Once the branding was defined, I customized the Transform template with their content and new design elements. Some sections of the template needed to be swapped or adjusted to better suit the studio’s needs and to improve the overall user experience.

The final result is a fully redesigned website that not only reflects Glass Act Studio’s unique brand and expertise but also offers a more intuitive, user-friendly experience. It now provides a clear, engaging view of Ted's intricate work process and craftsmanship, while making it easy for the studio to update their content and manage the online store.
