The project

Vanessa Senecal, based in Squamish, was looking to establish her first online presence with a straightforward and effective one-page website. Her primary goal was to present her services clearly and provide resources she could refer to her patients. Vanessa wanted a simple yet professional site that highlighted her services and made the booking process easy for visitors. Additionally, she needed a way to share resources and information with her patients.

The Squarespace website design process

We started our collaboration with a detailed questionnaire to understand Vanessa’s vision and requirements. This was followed by an inspiration session and a strategy call to discuss the direction of her website.

Since Vanessa didn't have any existing branding, I developed a complete web brand for her. This included a moodboard, a text-based logo, a color palette, and a typography system that resonated with her business and target audience. With limited imagery available, I curated a cohesive selection of stock photography and added custom graphics to enhance the website's visual appeal and convey her brand's personality.

To enable Vanessa to share resources with her clients, I created a blog section that she could easily update. After completing the design and development, I provided Vanessa with a PDF guide and a video tutorial to help her manage and edit her website independently.

The final one-page website is modern, clean, and organized, effectively showcasing Vanessa's specialties and services. The site highlights her process and provides an easy way for patients to book appointments. The inclusion of a blog for sharing resources further enhances its functionality, making it a valuable tool for both Vanessa and her clients.
