Shot of Scotch is a nonprofit organization based in Vancouver, BC, committed to celebrating and evolving the Highland dance tradition through performance and education. They needed a fresh start with a non profit website design tailored to their unique mission. I collaborated with Shot of Scotch to craft a modern and engaging platform that reflects their values of tradition, community, and engagement while supporting their growth as an independent nonprofit.

A Fresh Start with Non Profit Website Design
Previously sharing a website with their New York sister company, Shot of Scotch Vancouver was looking to refresh their online platform to better align with their evolving identity and mission in Vancouver. The existing website, while functional, no longer effectively communicated the organization’s focus on modernity, community, and tradition. This redesign aimed to provide a platform that reflects their values while showcasing their services, including performances, classes, and workshops, and encouraging support through donations, sponsorships and memberships.
The goal was to create a unique and artistic non profit website design reflecting both modernity and tradition while ensuring ease of use for their team and maintaining a strong connection to their local and global audiences.

We began by analyzing the shared website to identify opportunities for improvement and customization for the Vancouver chapter. Leveraging best practices in web design for nonprofit organizations, I developed a strategy to craft a unique and impactful website.
