The project

Marcia, the founder of Nourishment Meals, approached me to design a Squarespace eCommerce website for her Squamish-based company specializing in homemade, healthy, oven-ready frozen meals. Serving Squamish, North, and West Vancouver, she needed a platform to enhance her online presence beyond Square, where she could share her story and streamline her menu updates and delivery scheduling.

The Squarespace website design process

We started our project with an extensive questionnaire to capture Marcia's vision, followed by an inspiration phase and a strategy call to align on the website's direction.

I supported Marcia in gathering and organizing her content, focusing on her unique offerings and operational processes. With only a logo available, I developed a complete web branding package, including a moodboard, color palette, typography system, and a favicon, ensuring the site reflected her brand's ethos.

The design and development phase spanned two weeks, encompassing essential website pages and a meticulously organized eCommerce store. This included intuitive navigation, category-specific product displays, and user-friendly features like cart management and checkout. Graphics were added to illustrate Marcia's story and the ordering process clearly.

The resulting website is distinctive, reflecting Nourishment Meals' brand and philosophy with a sensitive and natural aesthetic. It maintains a minimal design approach that accentuates Marcia's products and ensures a seamless purchase experience for customers, enhancing overall user satisfaction and engagement.
