The project
Chris, the owner of Arcation Rental, reached out to me to design his first website. He needed an online presence to showcase his services, his rental properties and connect with new property owners. Chris wanted a semi-custom Squarespace website inspired by the colorful desert landscapes of the area he serves.
The Squarespace website design process
Our collaboration began with discussions about his vision, goals, and inspirations. Inspired by the vibrant desert scenery, I first created a brand moodboard, a color palette and typography system that captured the unique charm, vibrance and warmth of the region. Chris provided a logo, which served as the foundation for developing the website’s branding.
Over the course of two weeks, I designed and developed a semi-custom Squarespace website for Chris. A key feature of the project was the property listings page, which allows Chris to easily add new properties as his portfolio grows. At the end of the design process, I provided Chris with a video recording and a PDF guide to make updates to the site independently.
The outcome of our web design collaboration is a unique, clear, and easy-to-navigate Squarespace website that effectively reflects Chris’s personality and the vibrant atmosphere of the Phoenix Valley and Northern Arizona. This new online presence successfully showcases Arcation Rental’s properties and attracts potential property owners, providing a seamless and engaging experience for all visitors.
